This RKI UST-Series Upper Side Toolbox is ideal for welding trucks, flatbeds, equipment trailers, or any flat application. A 4.5″ deep top opening compartment is incorporated into the box with adjustable divider slots on 2″centers for the 8 included dividers. It is made of 14-gauge cold rolled steel with 14-gauge cold rolled steel lid and door stiffeners and full arc welds. The top opening lid is attached with six 4″ stainless steel butt hinges that are welded to the box and lid. The front horizontally hinged doors are attached with three stainless steel pillow block hinges that are welded to the box and lid, 5/16″ hinge pins and self-lubricating bushings. The heavy duty machine chains can be detached to drop the doors down to 180-degrees. The doors have a knife edge which works with the ribbed d-bulb seal creating a full perimeter seal with no interruption at the door latch. Optional RKI Tray US is sold separately.
